Hotham Complete Fireplace Kit
Have you always wanted to have a patio, deck, or backyard fireplace in your home, but you’re concerned about space? If so, the Hotham is the answer to your worries.
It’s slim enough to fit in constricted spaces. It’ll look great and save space even in the middle of your outdoor space. Its contemporary design and minimalist appeal add just the right amount of flavour to your outdoors.
The Hotham is made from natural pumice that come from the Hekla Volcano in Iceland, compressed into blocks that function as natural insulation. No matter how hot the fire gets, the outer blocks stay at the same temperature. This preserves the external render. This also means that you may stencil or paint on the external render if your creativity guides you to do so.

How long does it take to install?
These pumice modular fireplaces are lightweight, making installation simple, easy and fun. Based on a customer installation the main body took 1.5 hours, firebricks 1-2 hours and rendering 2 hours.
Can I extend the chimney?
Yes, additional chimney blocks are available and can be added to increase height of chimney. Each block is 300mm in height.
Do I need a permit?
In most cases permits are not required. However, we recommend you contact your local council or shire to enquire as to your local regulations.
How much heat will the fireplace create?
Pumice has high insulation properties and is a natural insulator, able to maintain the temperature in comparison to other products which allow the temperature to fall. The firebricks within fire chest will provide an intense radiant heat, creating great natural warmth and ambience.
Can I cook on the fireplaces?
Yes, the Ossa comes standard with a stainless-steel cooking grill. The Hotham and Perisher have optional cast iron cooking grills. There’s nothing better than cooking over a simmering wood fireplace!
Can I cook pizza on the fireplaces?
Absolutely! Using a pizza stone on either the Ossa cooling grill insert, or on the swinging cooking grill of the Hotham or Perisher.
What size fireplace will suit my outdoor area best?
With three options to select from, you can choose the model that suits the size of your area best. The larger fire chest, the greater the heat output. As our fires are modular, you can select additional log stores to further decorate your fireplace.

What are fireplaces made from?
Pumice! Yes, unlike other outdoor fireplaces, Ochre Livings Outdoor Fireplaces are made from Volcanic Pumice, sourced from the Hekla Volcano in Iceland. Pumice is strong, yet lightweight making installation a breeze.
How is it delivered?
These fireplaces are delivered palletized as a complete packaged solution. The Ossa and Hotham will generally arrive on a single pallet and the Perisher on two. This will also depend on the number of optional accessories selected. Don’t be put off by size, as the build element is super simple!
How do I order this outdoor fireplace?
Ordering is easy, just select your preferred size fireplace and add to basket, select any optional add on’s and proceed to checkout, once received we will process your order and be in touch regarding delivery or collection.
What does the installation of my outdoor fireplace cost?
These fireplaces are modular and lightweight, allowing owner installation to keep costs to a minimum. Alternatively, you can contact a local tradie or handyman to complete the installation for you. Detailed installation instructions are provided with every fireplace purchase.

If you placed an order for a product plus accessories and only receive your unit, your accessories will arrive separately via another tracking number.
Preparation Time and Tracking Information Availability
On occasion and due to high demand preparing your order may take up to 3 business days (or more) after your order has been placed. Our warehouse team processes orders as fast as possible, and in these times, we ask for your patience.
If an order is placed on the weekend or public holiday, please note that dispatch ETA times (as referenced above) will begin from the next working day.
For tracked shipments, once a tracking number has been sent, your order will be marked as dispatched. Please allow 12 hours for the consignment number to register in the courier’s tracking system.

Warranty
Ochre Living offers a complete 5-year warranty that the base product is free from defects. This warranty covers any major structural cracks that occur as a result of a manufacturing defect that prevents the unit from being used for its intended purpose, however, excludes any damage caused by excessive heat or overloading.
This warranty excludes consumables which would include firebricks, log retainers, cooking grill, and any damage in use that is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Once render has been applied, this warranty does not cover damage caused by knocks or accidental damage. Small hairline cracks are considered normal, non-structural and do not justify a claim.
